Program structure:

The students at the University of Mannheim MIM are authorized to compose their studies individually and flexibly according to their insights from the available broad event properties such as Areas Accounting and Taxation Finance and Insurance, Banking, Management, Marketing and Sales and Operations Management or Information Systems.

Application process:

The University of Mannheim MIM requires a degree of bachelor’s in Business Administrator. It is the basis of application criteria. An additional course of study is satisfactory if you’ve scored 36 ECTS or more in Business Administration.

It is mandatory to submit the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) report with a minimum of 600 scores or an analogous report of Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) by the application deadline.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

The selection criteria at the University of Mannheim MIM are based on various things, some of which are listed below:

  • Candidates must submit their graduation grade reports.
  • As mentioned above, the candidate must submit GMAT/GRE reports with the expected scores.
  • The candidate must provide evidence of suitable work experience such as internships or training at recognized sectors.
  • In the area of data analytics or sustainability, the student must provide additional study abroad or semester abroad qualifications.

Preliminary Admission norms:

In case you haven’t completed your graduation yet and you hope to apply for the University of Mannheim MIM program, you can apply based on your ECTS score (which should compulsorily be greater than or equal to 140 points). The university can grant you preliminary admission based on ECTS score but you have to submit the certificate by the time you appear for the first exam.

Required language skills:

The evidence of your English language skills is delivered by your test reports of GMAT/GRE. In case you opt for the German-English track you are supposed to illustrate level C-1 German language skills.

Moreover, you are excused from this if you already have German citizenship or you possess German University Entrance Qualifications.

Required Skills and Aptitude:

Applicants of the University of Mannheim MIM program are expected to possess the following skills/interests:

  • The applicants should have a clear perception of how they want to design their program.
  • The applicant must have a considerable interest in the Economic context.
  • The candidate must have fundamental knowledge in their respective specialization.
  • The applicant need not get uneasy with complex questions.
  • The applicant must be able to work independently in an effective manner.
  • The applicant must bring self-motivation, enthusiasm, and discipline.

Candidature:

Application deadline:

The application process begins on March 15 to May 31, for the succeeding autumn/winter semester. The applicant cannot apply for the spring/summer semester. It is not allowed by the University of Mannheim MIM.

Fees, Finance, and Funding:

Semester Fees: Fees per Semester are 194.30 Euros.

Fees for non-EU foreigners are 1500 Euros.

And the fees for a second degree are 650 Euros.

Application for the next semester or enrollment fees payment is a prerequisite and is constituted by the following amounts:

  • Administrative fees:70 Euros
  • Student Union fee:110.30 Euros
  • Contribution for the student body:14 Euros.

The students coming from foreign for short-term are excused from “contribution for the student body” as well as “Administrative fee”. Foreign incoming students are supposed to pay the Student Union fees only due to the Universities Agreements.

Tuition fees for International Students:

For the non-EU or EEA (European Economic Area) countries, the payable amount of tuition fees at the University of Mannheim MIM is 1500 Euros per semester.
