Application Requirements:

The University of Cambridge Executive MBA program is a rigid one and requires candidates to be wholly committed to taking up the workload. The following checklist must be remembered while applying for the program:

  • Professional Experience: The participant must hold at least seven years of professional experience with strong experience in managerial positions before the beginning of the program in September.
  • Academic Achievement: The participant must possess a bachelor’s degree of the first or the second honours from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification of professional work from a recognized or authorized organization.
  • GMAT Reports: The GMAT or EA (Executive Assessment) waiver section can be filled in the application form if your GMAT or EA reports can fulfil the requirements of Cambridge University.

Please note that the GMAT or EA can be granted only by the authority of admissions, at Cambridge University. It is only allotted to the students who fall under the qualification criteria of the admission norms, while the rest need to submit or retake the GMAT or EA test.

  • Two Official References: The participant needs to ask two referees to fulfil the reference section in their applications. One of the referees might be your direct administrator or supervisor while the second should be your colleague or acquaintance who is personally familiar with you and your work. A reference letter from a relative is not acceptable at any cost. University gets to know a lot about you and your personality, your potential, your weaknesses, your strengths, and your calibre through these reference letters. Therefore, we recommend you choose your referees very carefully and tell them how important it is to give a comprehensive reference in the application.
  • English Proficiency Requirements: The participant is compelled to submit English proficiency evidence if the native language of the participant is not English or if the primary language of conduct at the University of Higher Education or graduation was not English or if they have no complete degree in English. However, if you fulfil any of the above 3 requirements, you are not subject to this compulsion.

Application Process:

The application process to enrol in the University of Cambridge Executive MBA program is as follows:

In brief, the applicant needs to submit the online application with complete and updated information then you need to provide your official references as stated above with all the important points to be considered, and later you need to submit the official transcripts for which the university recommends you retrieve your transcripts from your higher education Institutions as soon as possible since this process takes a while to get completed.

What happens after the submission of the application?

Once you submit your completely updated application it goes for assessment to the board of admissions, where it goes through various evaluation stages before the final decision.

After the final assessment of your application for the University of Cambridge Executive MBA program, it is once again sent for a review which is followed by an invitation to an interview if your application is successfully shortlisted. The interview takes place virtually where the senior professors from the Admission Council examine you on your communication skills and get to know you better personally. If you happen to pass the interview stage,  you will be sent an offer of admission. After accepting the offer of admission you may begin your classes at Cambridge University.  Subsequently, upon completion of your degree, you have the opportunity to be a part of the Alumni of Cambridge University.

Fees & Funding:

The total tuition fees for the University of Cambridge Executive MBA program are £72,800. Plus a nonrefundable application fee of £150. The tuition fees cover the following expenses:

  • Program tuition charges.
  • Membership of Cambridge College
  • Accommodation on International Business Study trips.
  • Meals on International Business Study trips.
