Worldwide Module

WHU Otto Beisheim School MIM has 200 partner universities worldwide and you get to accomplish one semester from one of the partner universities which is included by the MIM program. While your semester abroad, you can achieve a chance to engross yourself in a different culture.

Application Criteria:

WHU Otto Beisheim School MIM is looking for graduates with a bachelor’s degree in business studies for the Masters in Management program. The bachelor’s degree could be in business administration/engineering or economics etc.

Graduates are eligible to apply if they have 80 ECTS scores or more in Business Administration which includes courses in Finance, Management, Accounting, and Marketing.

Note: A prior knowledge of Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics is mandatory for applicants.

In case you have an incomplete or missing course, you’re free to complete them at other accredited universities before the official program signup date (either online or in-person). However, you cannot complete the leftover courses at WHU Otto Beisheim School MIM.

The program is available for graduates with a maximum of 2-years post-graduate work experience.

Admission Requirements:

1.The applicant must have graduated from an accredited university and the bachelor’s degree must hold at least 80 ECTS scores. In case you haven’t acquired your graduation degree yet, you can still apply with your current Transcript of Records from your graduate studies.

2. Recommended practical experience: complete 20 weeks of experience in the business realm. (If not 20 weeks, even 12 weeks would do, but less than that is not acceptable)

3. English proficiency proof requirements:(any one of them)

  • TOEFL proficiency test in the English Language requires a minimum score of 100 Internet-based and 23 in speaking and writing skills(USE WHU CODE:0682)
  • IELTS with a minimum of 7.0 credits overall and at least 6.0 credits in speaking and writing.
  • CPE (CAMBRIDGE CERTIFICATE OF PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH) with at least Grade C.
  • CAE (CAMBRIDGE CERTIFICATE OF ADVANCE IN ENGLISH) with grade A.
    • Note: TOEFL ibc special home addition (that you take online) is also accepted at WHU Otto Beisheim School (MIM).
    • In case your first language is English or your bachelor’s degree is completed in English, you do not need to provide proof of English proficiency Test. (Proof from your Institution is required in this possibility).
    • For the study abroad semester, you need to have a credit score of 105 Internet-based or a minimum of 7.5 scores in IELTS, for such are the requirements of the partner Universities.

4. GMAT/GRE/TM-BASE proofs (strong analytical and quantitative skills)

  • GMAT score > 600 (WHU Otto Beisheim School MIM code:FBR-FH-93)
  • GRE > 155 (verbal and quantitative each)
  • TM-BASE > 102 scores

Note: GMAT, GRE, TM-BASE are also available at home through online exam facilities.

Even if the Admission Committee doesn’t ask for a GMAT/GRE/TM-BASE score, you are still advised to submit it to further enhance your application.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

  • Create an Application account online.
  • Upload all required documents.
  • Pay application fees (for fees related queries see below)
  • Make sure to click “submit“.

Log in to the application centre, to begin with, the registration process. Once you are logged in you’ll be informed about all the necessary details to be filled in. You can take a break in between, it is not necessary to fill the complete form at once. You just need to save the entered information and you can easily come back to it later.

APPLICATION FEE:

A non-refundable fee of €100 is charged for the application process. However, the fees can be relinquished if you register before the free bird deadline.

We recommend wire transfer as the most appropriate payment method.

However, it is recommended to pay the fees after completion of the online application process else your application will not be accepted. It is also necessary to submit the proof of payment with your application.

2. Use Kira Talent to complete your video interview which allows us to record the questions asked and answers given by the candidate. This interview takes place only after a complete evaluation of your application. (Only for qualified candidates)

The link for the Kira Talent interview and further details will be sent to you via email.

Once your interview starts, it is not possible to pause in between, and the amount of time allotted for this interview is 45 minutes.

3. The last stage: A Personal Interview

For the last stage, the candidate will be invited to a personal interview soon after the examination of your Kira talent interview. However, the candidate has a choice to select the medium of the interview, namely from

  • Online interview
  • Campus interview
  • In-person interview
