Warrington School MBA Program is offered by the graduate business school of the University of Florida. The school is accredited by the Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Established in 1926, the school carries a rich legacy within itself. Warrington College of Business boasts of an alumni network of over 70,000 individuals scattered around the world. The Warrington School MBA Program is a 22-month long program. The class typically consists of 14% of international students and 3:2 ratios for male and female candidates, respectively. Curriculum

The 22 months Warrington School MBA Program consists of 48 credits. The core courses include 28 credits, and the remaining 20 are from the elective courses. In the first year, students take 12 required core courses and three electives to learn the foundation of functional business skills. The first year is divided into 4-modules, with four subjects in each of them. Some of the core courses include Managerial Economics, Financial accounting, organizational behavior, Managerial accounting, Product & operations management, etc. The second-year consists of 6 electives and remaining core courses like Strategic management, Leadership skills, & Law and ethics of the organization.

Students can choose from over 100 electives according to their interests & career goals from six concentrations in Finance, Marketing, Human Capital, Strategy, Supply Chain, or Real Estate. Some of the popular elective subjects include Derivatives securities, International finance, Leading teams, Organizational staffing, International marketing, Customer Analysis, Project management, Introduction to Real estate, etc. The school also offers Global Immersion Programs, where students work on real-world problems in companies around the world. They learn about the company’s practices and unique environment to gain experience of how the business works globally. Some of the past locations of Global immersion programs were Argentina, Brazil, China, Ireland, & Dubai. Additionally, the school provides international exchange programs, leadership courses, experiential learning, & case competitions.

Eligibility

Academic Requirement:

Students are required to hold a 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S college or university or its international equivalent. The school looks for your performance on the quantitative course and the rigor of the curriculum.

Professional Experience:

Applicants must have at least 2-years of significant full-time post-graduate work experience before enrollment in the Warrington School MBA Program. The school takes into consideration your career advancement, international experience & other professional accomplishments.

Standardized Tests:

Candidates are required to submit a valid GMAT or GRE score. However, the school prefers GMAT over GRE. There is no minimum score requirement mentioned by the school, but the average GMAT score of the class is typically 680. Additionally, students are also required to score at least 30 in GMAT’s verbal section.

International students are also required to take the English Proficiency Tests like TOEFL or IELTS. The minimum score requirement for the Internet-based TOEFL exam is 80, while for the IELTS, it is 6. This requirement can be waived for students whose mother tongue is English or who have completed at least one academic year from a country where English is the official language.

Fees

The first-year tuition and fees for the Warrington School MBA Program are USD 35,151, while in the second year, it is $25,108. Admitted applicants are also required to pay a one-time professional development fee of $1,000. The cost of living in Warrington is lower than that of New York. Warrington has a cost of living index of 69.45. You can plan your living and personal expenses accordingly.

All the admitted applicants are considered for this award, and there is no additional application required for the same.   4. Please describe any academic, professional, or civic honors or awards you received, patents you’ve been issued, books you’ve authored, or any other significant accomplishments you would like the admissions committee to consider.
  5. Explain the primary factors that influenced your decision to apply to the UF MBA Program.

Long Answer Questions:

  1. Describe how you would like to see your career develop. Explain how your academic background, prior professional experience, and the UF MBA will help you achieve your career goals. If your career goals are international or you are an international student, please include as part of your career plan in what country or region you plan to seek employment following completion of the program.
  2. Describe the success you achieved due to self-motivation, persistence, and hard work. What motivated you?

Optional – Please share any additional information you think will assist the admissions committee in evaluating your application to the UF MBA Program. While writing these essays, show the admissions committee who you are through your experiences and how would you be able to contribute to the program and the school community. Be clear, precise, and sound motivated in all the essay compositions.

Warrington School MBA Program is among the top choices of business students around the world.
