University of Oxford Executive MBA Program Highlights

Please note: The program does not support Online education, therefore the courses are only delivered in person. However, if needed or appropriate in some exceptional cases, courses up to three modules can be delivered online.

The program constitutes the following:

  • Core Courses: The core courses are accompanied by one overseas course which offers you detailed knowledge of the modern business. The overseas module is modified for every new intake.
  • Electives: The program offers electives for you to select and customize the curriculum according to your interests and needs which includes two overseas proposals formulated to expand your capabilities and specializations.
  • Integrative projects: The University of Oxford Executive MBA program offers two integrated programs, namely, the Global Opportunities And Threats (GOTO) Project and the Entrepreneurship Project. Both the projects are conducted concurrently in teams which draw themes and topics studied in the program to be applied later.

The University of Oxford Executive MBA program concentrates on leadership advancement including group and individual coaching sessions. Plus workshops and sessions from the Career Development Team, all of which continue throughout the program.

Please Note: This program is paperless, hence paper handouts are not provided for most of the courses. The presentations and readings are always uploaded to the virtual learning environment.

Eligibility Criteria: University of Oxford Executive MBA

To be eligible to apply for the University of Oxford Executive MBA program you need to tick the following boxes:

  • The applicant must have post-qualification professional work experience of at least 5 years in managerial positions.
  • The applicant must hold an undergraduate degree or an equivalent in professional qualification from a recognized university. You may also be selected if you have an exceptionally powerful employment history.
  • It is compulsory to provide GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) or GMAC Executive Assessment reports. The University might grant exceptions to some extraordinarily experienced candidates.
  • You must provide your English language proficiency test reports if applicable. (Check for the English proficiency test reports section below)
  • Two professional or academic references should be submitted compulsorily.

Application Requirements: University of Oxford Executive MBA

A complete application to apply for the University of Oxford Executive MBA program must include the following documents:

  • All the official academic transcripts state your knowledge in every subject and academic excellence. In case your official transcript is not in English then you must attach a copy of the translated application.
  • You must attach your GMAT or GMAC’s Executive Assessment test reports to your application. Both the exams are now offered online by Oxford University. You can practice for the GMAT test using the online GMAT simulator offered by Oxford University.
  • A valid email address to be provided separately for work, profession, or institution each.
  • Essays: Three completed to be submitted according to the instructions provided in the application.
  • English proficiency test reports: The candidate is compelled to submit evidence of English proficiency by providing results of IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). These reports are only necessary if the native language of the applicant is not English or if the primary language of conduct was not English at the University of the candidate’s graduation.

Optionally, the candidate must hold a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English? (CPE) or Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE).

The above-mentioned tests must be conducted two years before the date of commencing the University of Oxford Executive MBA program.

Before you begin with your application, please consider the following points:

  • The University of Oxford Executive MBA program does not allow the participants to apply for more than one input at a time. If you still wish to apply for a subsequent intake, please contact Oxford University.
  • It is recommended that you apply as early as possible. There is no guarantee that you may secure a seat if delayed.
  • The candidate has the authority to request a test of English to be carried out irrespective of time.
  • The applicants who submit early are more liable to get a preferred college as compared to those who submit late.

Before applying, please review your application twice whether it is completed in every aspect or not. As the  University of Oxford Executive MBA program office considers applications only if all the directed documents have been received.

Fees/Funding: University of Oxford Executive MBA

The total tuition fees for the University of Oxford Executive MBA are £94,800 for both the September and January intakes. The fees include the following expenses:

  • All reading materials, notebooks + textbooks
  • Meals
  • University and College service charges
  • Membership of the Oxford Union.
