After I had completed my GMAT. I had about 4 months to start applying for colleges. I was trying to find someone to mentor me through the application process. Selecting the consultant was not at all an easy decision for me. I spoke to many of them but either they were way too expensive or were somehow not able to convince me. While browsing I came across Vikings consulting and my first call was with Rohit. It was indeed a very detailed call, and I was convinced that I must go with him. I had a very good experience throughout. The best part is he is thorough in terms of knowledge. He would understand your objective and guide you in that direction. Over a period, he told me many things about schools, geography, post MBA career which I would have never got otherwise through internet search. Unlike others his approach was never just to get an admit from so called "SAFE SCHOOL" which almost everyone told me. Rather based on my profile and GMAT scores he along with me shortlisted the best schools and went ahead. It was indeed a risky proposition for him as well. In fact, he told me upfront not to apply to schools where you will have a second thought to go. He is very approachable, and I could text/call him anytime. We had multiple calls for essay review, LOR review, mock interviews and things like that. He does not give pre-defined essays or does not write them for you.
