ADMISSION AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The candidate must fall under the following criteria to apply for MSc in management at The Smith School MIM:
- Undergraduate degree with an average of 77℅ (B+) of four years.
- It is mandatory to submit a GMAT or GRE score report proving your academic excellence.
- Evidence of an English proficiency test if English is not your native language. The following test might be considered:
- TOEFL: > 100
- IELTS: > 7.0
Please note: The students whose native language is English or who have completed their graduation specifically in English are not supposed to submit English proficiency test reports.
- Two referees, familiar with your research and academic background. However, this is not mandatory to submit, it will only strengthen your application if you do.

Fees and Finance:
Tuition fees are almost $6,980.23 CDN per year for domestic students and $14,982.80 CDN per year for International students at Smith School MIM.
Smith School MIM has allocated funding of $26,000 for the MSc students through several sources and is distributed over three terms. This funding is donated through numerous sources to help the deserving and dedicated students with their Master’s program. The following sources have contributed to this funding:
- Smith Business Awards
- Research Assistantships
- University Fellowships
- Teaching Assistantships
- International tuition awards
The students are recommended to be involved in teaching assistantships or research assistantships since it contributes to a portion of this funding package and benefits them in the end.
Students may work 520 hours per year or 10 hours per week to additionally supplement their funding package by undertaking additional teaching assistantships or research assistantships.
The students are also provided with a high amount of funds to represent themselves in a global conference during the academic year or to purchase research supplies or conduct research.
Students also have opportunities to apply for up to $150 per year to counteract printing expenses.
Fellowships and Awards:
We automatically considered students for nominations for University fellowships and School of Business awards if they accept the offer of admission before March 1 to the MSc program. Funding packages will also be seen increasing for the students entering with the national or provincial fellowship.
