The Rotterdam School MIM program is a one-year program that enables students to combine their specialist bachelor’s study with business master’s and create their unique career paths in different industries. Application Requirements
If one decides to apply to the Rotterdam School MIM program, one of the most important things to know about is the requirements of the application. The details have been mentioned below –
1) Bachelor’s Degree – Applicants need to have a BSc degree or an undergraduate degree comparable with it. It is not mandatory to complete the degree but all the requirements of the Bachelor’s program need to be fulfilled by the end of August.
2) GPA/GMAT Score – A minimum score in GPA is required by native students while all the applicants out of the Netherlands should have a minimum score of 600 in their GMAT exam.
3) English language proficiency tests – A score in any such exam is required. IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge scores can be submitted.
IELTS – The minimum overall score of 7.0 and minimum sub-scores of 6.5 is required in this exam.
TOEFL iBT and TOEFL iBT® Special Home Edition – minimum overall score 94 with minimum sub scores of 22 for reading, listening and speaking along with 24 for writing is required.
Cambridge – A minimum overall level of C1 and sub-scores of 180 for all parts of the test (reading, writing, listening & speaking) is required.
4) A €100 handling fee needs to be paid for the application. This is non-refundable and can be paid online via the Erasmus Payment System.

6) 2 letters of recommendation – One letter should be from an academic recommender and the other from a professional one.
7) Essay – There are four essay questions in the Rotterdam School MIM program application. They are as follows –
a) “What demonstrates your sincere interest in the program you are applying for?”

b) “How do you expect the program you are applying for to contribute to your future plans?”
(Word limit: 200 Words)
c) Why should we select you to participate in the programme you are applying for? (200 words)
d) “What other relevant information do you want to share with us in order to motivate your application?” (200 words)
Placement Statistics
The employment statistics of the Rotterdam School MIM program are quite good. 75% of them got employed and it took around 3 months to find job offers. The average annual salary of students of 2019 was €44,220. 34% got employed in consulting while 31% found jobs in the financial services sector. 18% were employed in IT and 12% in consumer goods. The biggest companies that employed students of the Rotterdam School MIM program are Deloitte, PwC, EY, ABN AMRO, Unilever, etc.
Course Fee
The total tuition fee for the Rotterdam School MIM program is €18,700. The students that are from a country belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA) need to pay only the statutory fee of €2,168. For all the EEA nationals who have completed a master’s program in the Netherlands, the tuition fee for the Rotterdam School MIM program is approximately €12,000.

Scholarships
There are many options of different scholarships available for students of the Rotterdam School MIM program. Some of them are mentioned here –
1) RSM non-EEA Scholarship of Excellence – If the grades of students from non-EEA countries are considered extraordinary, this scholarship is awarded. It is in the form of a partial waiver from their tuition fee. The last date to apply for this scholarship is the beginning of March.
2) Erasmus University Holland Scholarship – This scholarship is for international students and is financed by the RSM, Erasmus University as well as the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The last date to apply for this scholarship is the beginning of February.
3) NN Future Matters Scholarship – This scholarship is awarded to students of a pre-decided set of countries. Its amount is €5,000. The last date to apply for this scholarship is the beginning of April.
4) L-EARN for Impact Scholarship – This scholarship is awarded to students of developing countries with relevant professional experience. The last date to apply for this scholarship is the beginning of March.

How to Apply
The online application submission for the Rotterdam School MIM program starts on October 1. The final application deadline date is January 31. After the submission of the application, the RSM Admissions Office evaluates the application and if it meets the pre-defined requirements, an invitation is sent for the interview process. This is conducted online. An applicant has 14 days to complete the interview.
The interview is not live but needs to be completed in one sitting. Applicants are given limited time for each question. The GPA/GMAT score counts for 50% of the final score while the interview counts for the rest 50%. Around 70 students are given a conditional offer of admission after this process. If all the conditions of the application are met by the end of August, the admission is confirmed.
All the selected applicants have a period of 14 days to confirm their acceptance of the offer to the RSM Admissions office. Since there is equal weightage of interview and score in GMAT/GPA, it is recommended to put equal efforts into them.
