Course Curriculum

The full-time Mays  Business School MBA program is an 18-month long program. The fall semester of the first year has 20 credit hours and includes courses like Financial Accounting, Business Analytics, Marketing Management, etc. This is followed by a mini-mester of 5 credit hours. After this, there is the spring semester of the first year which includes 13 credit hours of core courses and 3 hours of specialization courses.

Students can choose elective courses of their own choice from a given list of options. The fall semester of the second year includes 11 credit hours and includes courses like Individual Leadership Development, Capstone Consulting Project, etc. The spring semester of the second year is optional.

Eligibility Criteria & Entry Requirements

2) Copies of undergraduate transcripts and graduate degrees

3) GMAT/GRE score – The middle GMAT score of the class of the Mays Business School MBA program was 560-700 while the score for GRE was 299-315.

6) A minimum score of 250 in computer-based TOEFL, 600 in paper-based or 100 in iBT or a minimum score of 7 in IELTS.

First year – Fall Semester – Fee for Texas resident is $21,440 while it is $31,403 for non-resident

First year – Spring Semester – Fee for Texas resident is $21,440 while it is $31,403 for non-resident

Second year – Fall Semester – Fee for Texas resident is $18,749 while it is $24,517 for non-resident

$1,000 needs to be deposited after admission for the purpose of securing a seat in the Mays Business School MBA program.

Scholarships

Merit-based scholarships are awarded to students based on different criteria. All the applicants are automatically considered for scholarships because of which is it recommended to apply before the third round. The factors on which the scholarships depend are academic and professional performance, etc.

Other than the scholarships, Texas A&M University offers fellowships to the incoming students. The Graduate Diversity Fellowship is awarded to deserving students. They receive $13,000 annual stipend, $10,000 annually for tuition and fees and other benefits.

The employment report of the Mays Business School MBA program is quite good. 90% of the students got job offers within 90 days of completion of graduation. The average base salary of the last class was $113,232 while the average signing bonus was $21,773. There are 4 application deadlines for the next class of this program. Although applications are considered on a rolling basis in between the below-mentioned dates as well.

Round 1 – October 28, 2020

Round 2 – January 20, 2021

Round 3 – March 10, 2021 – This is the final deadline for international students

Round 4 – April 21, 2021 – This is the final deadline for domestic students

Please provide a list of the top 12 things the admissions committee should know about you as we consider you for entry to the FTMBA program. At least two of the items on your list should connect to the Texas A&M Core Values. (Maximum length –2 pages, double-spaced)

Question 3 – REQUIRED if you are a re-applicant from the 2020 entry term: Please provide the Admissions Committee with specific details of how you have strengthened your candidacy since you last applied. (Maximum length -1 page, double-spaced)
