The Mannheim MBA program is one of the best full-time MBA programs in Germany. It has earned its triple accreditation from the AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. Its ranking is 1 in Germany and within the top 10 in Europe as per the Bloomberg Businessweek, The Economist, and Forbes. The typical class size of the Mannheim MBA program is 60. The duration of the full-time program is of 12 months. The average age of the students is 30 years with an average work experience of 6 years. Course Curriculum

The full-time Mannheim MBA program starts in September every year. The curriculum includes a mix of core courses, case studies, simulations, etc. Some of the core courses are Financial Accounting, Marketing, Corporate Finance, Macroeconomics, etc. Some of the specialization courses are Applied Corporate Finance, Corporate Mergers & Restructuring, Global Corporate Strategy, International Marketing, etc.

Eligibility Criteria & Entry Requirements

1) An average grade of B+ in Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university.

2) Minimum work experience of 3 years (full-time after graduation)

3) International experience

4) A minimum score of 95 in TOEFL/a score of 7 in IELTS

5) A minimum score of 600 in GMAT or equivalent score in GRE

It is to be noted that a score of 650 in GMAT or an equivalent score in GRE will grant a €200 reduction in fee.

7) Although knowing German is not a requirement for the Mannheim MBA program, it is strongly recommended to take German language courses before the start of the program.

Course Fee

The current course fee of the Mannheim MBA program is €39,500. This tuition fee includes case studies, copies and course materials. It includes many other things like access to their IT infrastructure, library, German language courses, etc.

Other than the tuition fee, students need to spend on transportation, accommodation, and living costs. The first down payment of €8,500 needs to be paid in the first week of the admissions into the Mannheim MBA program. 50% of the fee is required to be paid before the start of the program. €500 will be reduced if the complete fee is paid upfront.

Scholarships

There are different kinds of scholarships that can b availed by deserving students to partially finance their fee for the program. Some of them are discussed here –

1) MBS Network Scholarship – This is awarded to one student in the value of €10,000.

2) Scholarship For Excellent Candidates – This ranges between €1,000 – €2,000 and is awarded based on many factors like high GMAT score, work experience, etc.

3) Scholarship For The Most Outstanding Candidate – The amount of this scholarship is €7,000 and is awarded on the basis of factors like GMAT/GRE and TOEFL/IELTS score, etc.

Placement Statistics

The placement stats of the Mannheim MBA program have been quite good in the last years. In the class of 2018, 93% of the students got placed within three months of the completion of the program. The average base salary of these students was $103.2.

How to Apply

The first thing to know about the admissions process is the deadline date. Admissions to the Mannheim MBA program are done on a rolling basis. November end is the last date to apply to the program if you want to be a part of the program that starts in September next year.

If a candidate applies by the first early bird reduction deadline (November 30th), €3,000 will be reduced from the tuition fee. If a candidate applies by the second early bird reduction deadline (March 31st), €1,000 will be reduced from the tuition fee.

The first step is to fill the application form and send it to them along with all the required documents. An application fee of €130 needs to be paid.

The second step is the first interview with the Admissions Manager. If it is successful, then, it is followed by a case study that needs to be done at home. The next step is another interview with Program Management. Successful candidates will receive the notification within two weeks of the interview. After that, the applicant needs to sign and return the contract of the admission.
