Desautels School MBA Program Course Curriculum
The one year Desautels School MBA Program is a 48 credit program whereas the two year MBA program is a 54 credit program.
2 Year Program
The first two weeks are of Basecamp in which the students go through preparatory lectures and courses in the areas of basics of statistics, financial accounting, and Mathematics. The first semester is dedicated to the “Core Curriculum”. This consists of five integrated modules and a final case competition. The Core Curriculum has 15 credits. The first semester is then followed by the second semester in which students need to choose their elective courses from the four areas of Finance, Marketing, Global Leadership, and Business Analytics. The credits for electives are 24 0r 30 which include at least 15 in one area. After the first two semesters, the next two semesters consist of the experiential learning initiative. This could be a practicum or an internship, which has 6 credits, or exchange, which has 12 credits or an international trip of 6 credits.
1 Year Program
The 1-year program consists of the core curriculum and electives. There is no internship included in it.
Eligibility Criteria & Entry Requirements

3) Interview – After the preliminary review of the file, an invite for an interview is sent to the deserving applicants. This interview is conducted in person for the local students and through Skype for international students.
4) After the interview process is complete, the file of the applicants is evaluated by the MBA Admission Committee. The final decision will be given by this committee within 2 weeks of the interview. Once an applicant is selected, she/he would be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of CAD 5000 within a stipulated time. After this, the admission is considered to be final.
