1) An undergraduate degree from any recognised university
2) Official transcripts
3) GMAT/GRE Score – The higher the score, the better it is. Applicants who are considered for scholarships generally score more than 650 in GMAT.
4) A minimum TOEFL score of 100 with a minimum of 22 in each section / a minimum overall band score of 7.5 with a minimum of 7 in each section / a minimum score of 68 in PTE
5) Essays
6) Names of two people that can serve as professional references, if needed.
7) A minimum work experience of two years. Most of the students have experience of 3-6 years.

Scholarships
Some part of the Cox School MBA program tuition fee can be funded through many scholarships. The average scholarship award in the session of 2019 was more than $48,000. Many merit scholarships are awarded to students based on many factors like GMAT score, work experience, etc.
There is no need to apply separately for scholarships for the Cox School MBA program. The students are evaluated at the time of admissions. It is awarded for the full two-year tenure of the program if the academic performance has been satisfactory.
Other than the merit scholarships, there is the Cox Distinguished MBA Scholars program too. This awards up to 8 full-tuition scholarships every year. This is awarded to the most outstanding students of the program.
Placement Statistics
The employment statistics of the Cox School MBA program have been impressive over the years. 91% of the students received job offers within 3 months of their graduation. Their average salary was $114,000 with an average of $27,000 as signing bonus.

3. One of the three pillars of the SMU Cox MBA program is Data Analytics. We are committed to helping all students develop skills in data analysis and to further develop an analytical mindset. Please answer one of the following prompts (500 word limit).
a. Please describe how you have used data to solve a complex problem, including how you communicated your solution to others.
