Course Curriculum

The Australian Graduate School MBA program is a 16-month course that starts in May every year. There are two phases of the program. The first one is the core stage and the other is the elective stage.

There are nine core courses that are covered in two terms. Some of the core courses are Economics in Management Practice, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Strategy, etc. Stage 2 involves 7 elective courses completed in 2 terms. Some of them are Advanced Managerial Finance, Venture Capital Finance, International Finance, etc.

There is also an option to opt for an international exchange program during the stage 2 of the program. Their partner schools are in North America, Europe and Asia.

Eligibility Criteria & Entry Requirements

2) A minimum work experience of 2 years

3) A good GMAT score – Typically, the students of the Australian Graduate School MBA program have a GMAT score of more than 660. The average score of the class of 2020 was 686.

6) Proof of identity

7) Video interview

8) English language proficiency tests – A minimum score of 7 with a minimum of 6 in each section in IELTS/ minimum score of 94 in TOEFL iBT with a minimum of 25 in writing and 23 in other sections or a minimum of 589 in paper-based test/ a minimum score of 65 in PTE with a minimum of 54 in each subset.

Course Fee

The course fee of the Australian Graduate School MBA program is around AUD 86,400. The fee per course is AUD 5,400. The program can be funded through different ways like scholarships, fellowships, student loans, etc.

Scholarships

There are different kinds of scholarships that can be availed by deserving students to fund some part of theAustralian Graduate School MBA program, some of which are being mentioned here –

1) The Luminis AGSM Wharton Business Innovation Scholarship – This scholarship includes a full tuition fee waiver along with an additional stipend up to AUD 41,750. This is awarded to outstanding students who have the experience of implementing innovative strategies in businesses.

2) AGSM Global Reach Scholarship – The selection committee makes the final decision of the value of the scholarship based on some pre defined criteria.

3) AGSM Military Scholarship – One full tuition fee waiver is granted to current or ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force who have served a minimum of 5 years.

4) AGSM Excellence Scholarship – The value of the scholarship is decided on the basis of many factors like GMAT score, admissions interview, CV, etc.

Placement Statistics

The average salary of the students before the MBA was $59,000 while after 5 years of completing the Australian Graduate School MBA program, their salaries rose to $139,000.

How to Apply

Round 4 – The application deadline for this round is August 1 and the offer is sent out by August 30. The offer acceptance date is September 30.

Round 5 – The application deadline for this round is September 1 and the offer is sent out by September 30. The offer acceptance date is October 30.

Round 6 – The application deadline for this round is October 1 and the offer is sent out by October 30. The offer acceptance date is November 30.

Round 7 – The application deadline for this round is October 30 and the offer is sent out by November 15. The offer acceptance date is December 15.

Round 8 – The application deadline for this round is November 30 and the offer is sent out by December 15. The offer acceptance date is January 15.

Round 9 – The application deadline for this round is January 15 and the offer is sent out by February 15. The offer acceptance date is March 15.

Round 10 – The application deadline for this round is February 15 and the offer is sent out by March 1. The offer acceptance date is April 1.

The applicants are required to apply online first and submit all the required documents that have been mentioned earlier. A fee of AUD 125 needs to be paid. The selection committee sends an invitation for interviews to the selected candidates. The interview goes on for 30-45 minutes.
