The University of Hong Kong MBA Program is one of the best full-time programs in Hong Kong. It has been ranked number 1 in Hong Kong for the last 9 years by The Economist. Course Curriculum

The University of Hong Kong MBA program offers a 12-month full-time program that starts in August every year. From August to March, 2 core courses are studied in 3 terms. Some of the courses include Accounting for Business Decisions, Corporate Finance, Business Ethics, Managerial Economics, etc. Students can opt for 2-3 elective courses. From March to August, there is a partnership program where full-term studies continue at one of their partner schools. This partnership program can be done in London, New York, or Hong Kong.

Eligibility Criteria & Entry Requirements

Course Fee

The total fee of the University of Hong Kong MBA program is HKD 588,000 which needs to be paid in three installments. A deposit of HKD 75,000 is required to be made upon receiving the notice of admission. Other than this, there are other expenses related to living in different cities. These are –

The average living expenses in Hong Kong per month are HKD 15,500. The monthly expenses in London are £1,500. Monthly expenses in New York are $2,800 whereas they are RMB 7,500 in Shanghai.

Scholarships

The school provides scholarships for the University of Hong Kong MBA program in the amount of HKD 150,000 to HKD 350,000. These scholarships are completely based on merit. A separate application for being considered for scholarships is not needed. The decision is taken on the basis of many factors like performance in the interview, GMAT/GRE score, career background, academic performance, etc.

Placement Statistics

Since the University of Hong Kong MBA program is one of the best in the region, their placement statistics reflect that. They have an employment rate of 90%. 75% of them could change their job functions after the program.
